Middle and high school Khartoum American School students engaged in deep listening and storytelling experiences in November 2023 with educational consultant LeeAnne Lavender. These experiences helped students reflect on their experiences leaving Khartoum when war erupted in April 2023, and their subsequent experiences relocating to Alexandria, Egypt, and sharing on-site space at Schutz American School.

* share information about the war in Sudan to raise awareness of the ongoing conflict
* offer reflections on the impact of war in this particular context
* advocate for peace
