Khartoum American School (KAS) has been a beacon of learning, community, and opportunity for students and families in Sudan for decades. Serving students since 1957, KAS is one of Sudan’s long-standing international schools, with a legacy of educational excellence and impact spanning generations.

Following the conflict in Sudan, the school sustained significant damage and now requires extensive restoration before students can safely return. Yet the resilience of its students, families, educators, and community remains strong.

Through this campaign, we aim to rebuild classrooms, restore power and technology, repair essential facilities, and create safe, inspiring spaces where students can learn and thrive once again. Our mission is not only to restore buildings, but also to restore hope, opportunity, and the promise of education for students, families, and educators affected by conflict.

Our Phase One goal is to raise $250,000 to support critical recovery and reopening efforts.

Every gift, regardless of size, helps restore education, opportunity, and hope for future generations. Our goal is to reopen learning spaces as quickly as possible, and every donation helps accelerate the return of students to school.

Together, we can rebuild Khartoum American School and help students return to learning. Together, we can restore, renew, and reimagine the future of KAS.
