Mr. Hani Bahgat: System Administrator
Graduated from Arab academy for science and technology Alexandria, Egypt with a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering. He has over 10 years experience in the IT and computer networking field. The System Administrator job is to assure the effective provision, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of the school’s systems hardware, software and network (LAN, WAN) infrastructure. Also, to participate in technical research and development of the School’s IT System.
Mr. Magdi Saeed: Database Administrator/Website Developer
Graduated from National Radio Institute with diploma in Digital Electronics. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of the IT and database administration. He worked as the Wang Customer Engineer supporting USAID for 7 years maintaining their mainframes and desktop computers. His rich previous experiences include different NGOs including IT support for USAID, FAO, EU, and British Council. The database administrator role is to develop an integrated electronic Database System that will simplify the entry, storage, retrieval, and manipulation of data related to KAS. This includes simplifying data entry, digitizing paper-based documents, providing easier access to digital documents without compromising security, and documenting all procedures to ease future development.
Mrs. Egbal Mohamed: Technology Coordinator/Computer Teacher
Graduated from Cairo University with a bachelor degree in Economics and Business Administration. She has a diploma degree in Management Information System, Computer Networking and certificate in Multimedia Applications all from Ohlone College in California USA. She has over 9 years experience working in the IT field with different companies in California, such as Intel corporation, Everdream and Fireside Bank in the bay area. She moved back to Sudan in 2007 and joined KAS as TA in the ESL department. In 2009 she became a computer teacher at KAS. She then obtained her Masters degree in Educational Technology form American college of Education in Chicago, USA and earned he degree in 2013. She has over 3 years experience now as a Technology coordinator at KAS. Technology Coordinator role provides vision, leadership, planning and implementation across the school for effective use of learning technologies. This includes but is not limited to being an education leader in the school, responsibility for overseeing curriculum and planning to do with integrating technology, guide and support the integration of technology in the classrooms to improve student learning, fostering student and community engagement, overseeing infrastructure development, and seeking new knowledge about advances in educational technology and e-learning.
